"A journey is sweet, but a journey on the Lolly Jet is pure sweetness! Hop on board, and let your sweet travels come to life. Every moment feels as precious and delightful as candy in a jar." Note the two sides are different.
"The pink-themed plane, adorned with iconic Hello Kitty elements, comes together to create the cutest Pinky Jet! Store your travel memories inside Kitty’s heart-shaped bubble and soar through the sky, heading back to the warmth of home." Note the two sides are different.
This scheme is the updated version of the Sanrio characters scheme worn by B-16703; note this time the two sides are different. Eva Air's website says: "A journey is sweet, but a journey on the Lolly Jet is pure sweetness! Hop on board, and let your sweet travels come to life. Every moment feels as precious and delightful as candy in a jar."
Hello Kitty's red bow symbolizes friendship. "Board our Flight of Friendship Bows and let us take you around the world, exchange bows with Hello Kitty, and make friends where you go!"
"How about a party in the air? Leave all your worries and troubles behind when you board EVA's exclusive Celebration Flight!
Be surrounded by members of the Sanrio family and start your journey in a joyful and delightful atmosphere."
This plane carries "the passengers' excitement for the trip ahead as well as the anticipation for returning home. Let the lovable members of Sanrio
(Hello Kitty, Kiki Lala, Pompompurin and friends)
accompany you during this part of your voyage, sailing across the vast blue sky towards your destination."
"Little Twin Stars Kiki and Lala join Hello Kitty and Melody on the delightful trip, making the flight fun and inviting passengers to reach for the stars." The livery was modified in 2024.
The success of the Hello Kitty concept at Eva Air led the airline to expand it to intercontinental flights. Sanrio Family extends "a warm hand of friendship to all passengers of Sanrio Family hand in hand to make them feel exuberant love and care. Let’s take each other’s hand and build the bridge of happiness and global friendship." Hello Kitty and 18 members of the Sanrio family were featured on the plane.
The Speed Puff Jet was inspired by the "somersault clouds" of East Asian folklore. Hello Kitty and her friends rode the "colorful, fluffy clouds to the destinations of their dreams". Both sides were different. Note the Hello Kitty titles were not in red for once.
The Happy Music Jet had "a fanciful melody theme designed to inspire cheerfulness in the air". Symbols of musical notes adorned the aircraft. Note both sides were different.
The Global Jet depicted Hello Kitty and her friends amid many of the world’s greatest landmarks. The colorful images were "an invitation for travelers to join Hello Kitty on her exciting travels to far-away destinations". The landmarks displayed included Taipei 101, the Temple of Heaven, a Dutch windmill, Mount Fuji, the Tokyo Tower, the Sydney Opera House, the Shanghai World Financial Center and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Note both sides were different.
"Apples care very close to Hello Kitty’s heart. She is five apples tall and weights three apples. Her favorite food is her mother’s homemade apple pie." Depicted along the fuselage of this aircraft were Hello Kitty and her friends, who happily shared their sweet apples with EVA Air’s passengers. Note both sides were different.
Both sides were different. Hello Kitty with Magic Stars, the theme of the Magic Jet, featured "the cute feline waving her magic wand, sprinkling shining stars and heralding the start of a happy journey. Hello Kitty’s friends and family members
join her on the aircraft in a cheerful representation of friendship and love." This livery was replaced by a Bad-Badtz Maru derivative in 2017.
Second Hello Kitty scheme for Eva Air. Both sides were only very slightly different. Eva Air is now widely known for its special Hello Kitty liveries. The first such scheme was unveiled in 2005 in an agreement with Japanese company Sanrio, featuring big decals of the popular Japanese character. Interior fittings and features onboard this specific aircraft were also modified accordingly. The plane was used primarily on routes to Japan, but later also flew a wider range of Asian routes. The concept was successful but the partnership came to an end in 2009. These special liveries were revived in 2011 with a second batch of no less than 7 Hello Kitty-themed planes.
